Barclay Bailes

Barclay 'Titch' Bailes (9 August 1883 – 24 September 1955)〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Barclay Bailes - Player Bio )〕 was an Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy in the VFL during the early 1900s.
A wingman, Bailes transferred to Fitzroy from Perth Football Club and made his debut for the Maroons in the 1905 season. He finished the year in a premiership side with Fitzroy defeating Collingwood in a low scoring Grand Final, and was regarded as the best player on the ground.〔''The Age'', October 1, 1905, p. 9〕 Bailes won Fitzroy's Club Champion in 1907 and represented Victoria at the Melbourne Carnival the following year. He finished his career at the Brighton Football Club, spending the 1910 VFA season with them before being forced to retire with a bad facial injury.
